With Bush being unwilling to change over global warming and thus the U.S. |
|
being the pig headed major polluter of the air we all have to breath and the water we all need does this justify most of the hate and some of the terrorist attacks that are happening?

2. Look, take this personally |

Make personal changes.
Buy electricity from a wind/solar only provider -- Green Mountain sells in Texas.
Sell your SUV for a car that gets 30+mpg.
Start recycling.
Start telling your local city council to do the same.
F*ck Bush. There is nothing you can do about him. Get your local naighborhood to change instead.

...the terrorists attacking the US and Western targets aren't even in the least bit concerned about who pollutes the air and water. Kyoto is not on the Islamic fanatics agenda.
BTW, it really wouldn't matter if Bush was willing to change his mind about global warming or not. The US Senate already demonstrated its unwillingness to ratify Kyoto in a test vote in 1997. The tally was 95-0 against - not even 1 Democrat was willing to vote for the treaty. The reason, the American public would never support it once they realized they actually had to make even the slightest of sacrifices. Each and every Senator is fully aware that a vote for Kyoto might cost them their jobs - therefore few would ever endorse it.
