Review of Santorum book, from amazon.com
Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) has a new book, "It Takes a Family." Below is a short review:

Reviewer: Ruth A. Lopez

I was really excited to read Senator Santorum's book. I knew he was going to explain how I didn't need to work, we could raise our family with only one income - and I found where he said that.

But I thought he would give concrete, how-to examples, like how he bought a house in a low income district that he never lived in with his family so his kids could get an education in a great school district and he could avoid paying property taxes. That a budget tip I could use!

My husband and I would also like to avoid paying taxes we owe but we can't aford two houses to do it.

So, I was disappointed.

2. I posted this on my blog the other day...
Rick Santorum. What can you say about Rick Santorum?

Well, you can say he has a new book IT TAKES A FAMILY:Conservatism and the Common Good (http://www.ittakesafamily.com/); I hear he wanted to name it SHOPPIN' AND MOPPIN' or BAREFOOT, PREGNANT AND KINDA DUMB.

Someone somewhere, can't remember who or where, suggested Chris Matthews (HARDBALL), whose legal residence would qualify him, should run against him in '06. Hmmm.
Here's how Dan Savage, editor of Seattle's THE STRANGER newspaper and columnist ( SAVAGE LOVE) defined the word Santorum: "1. The frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex." (Use it in a sentence soon.)

What can you say about Ol' Rick Santorum?
Well, you can say he's one of the reasons that current "conservatism" is so repulsive. But only one; there's a bumper crop out there right now.

3. If you enjoyed Rick Santorum's book,
may I suggest The Total Woman by Marabel Morgan. It's an oldie, but a "goodie". This book came out just before I got married. I am surprised it is still in print, but given our new found "christian" culture of life, it is probably enjoying renewed status.

:sarcasm:

6. The book's at #1207 on Amazon
Why should Santorum care about negative reviews? I have to say, if any of my books were doing that well, I laugh at bad reviews.

But it does do my heart good to read those.
