So, I had this dream that I was working for George Dubya....
I woke up at 4 AM and the TV was tuned to Bush's press conference from Scotland.

I listened to some of it, and then fell back to sleep.

And this is what I dreamed...

We were in a room on Air Force One, and George was complaining that his schedule was making him really tired.

He tried to make some coffee (making his own coffee?) but put the coffee grounds in the pot instead of the filter basket.

I walked over to him and tried to discreetly whisper, "Uhm... excuse me, Sir... when you made the coffee--"

George interrupted me, "You're gonna have to speak-up. I'm gettin' a little old..."

So, I start again, (louder) "I'm sorry, to bother you, sir. Maybe you're more familiar with this particular coffee maker than I am, but I think you put the coffee in the wrong part of the machine."

George starts to look a little angry.

"I'm sorry, but I tried to tell you as quietly as I could before. I know you're really tired, it's an easy mistake to make. Why don't you take a nap?"

George refuses at first, but with help from Laura, we convince him to take a 15 minute nap.

Five minutes later, George comes stumbling back, cranky as hell.

I try to gently convince him that it hasn't been 15 minutes yet, and George shoots me a nasty look.

Laura tells me, "I think that will be enough."

She turns to George and urges him to go use the bathroom.

George says angrily, "I don't have to go to the bathroom. I don't want to go to the bathroom. I want to watch my T.V."

And when I woke-up, I realized:

I wasn't dreaming about George Bush.

I was dreaming about my three year-old daughter.

Same thing, I guess.
