2. It's a label for the posters on

freerepublic.com

They're into rounding up muslims and shooting them, riots against muslim neighbourhoods, that sort of thing.

3. A biased definition.
"Freeper" is a user on the right-wing message form Free Republic. The name comes from abbreviating the letters of the name, which is why you often see the "FR" capitalized (i.e., "FReeper").

Freepers torment, Freepers stalk, Freepers harrass. Freepers have just recently interfered with someone's attempt to obtain life-saving medical treatment. Freepers are the cockroaches of the extremist right-wing.

5. They are the descendents of George W. Freep . . .
Who immigrated to this country with his sister (who he later married) in 1657. They formed the settlement of Moran, where brothers and sisters, mothers and sons, and fathers and daughters, were welcome to spend out their married lives, free from the taunts of society. Freep descendents fought for the French in the French & Indian War; they bravely attacked Bunker Hill in 1775; you can find (unmarked) Freep graves in Confederate, Mexican, Cuban, and German cemetaries throughout America. Freeps are active in politics -- they have supported politicians from Nathan Bedford Forrest to George Wallace to Jesse Helms through the years. They're active socially as well, from the DAR to the KKK to the NMBLA. They're only bad to those pointy headed liberals that don't support their cause. Yes, Freepers leave a mark everywhere they go. Fortunately, some strong cleanser and a stiff brush will remove it.
