I Noticed Something About Tweety And Media Spin.... |
|
Tweety wanted to set up a piece to bash Clark ( I don't care who he wanted to bash). He asks a leading question of Lawrence O'Donnell but Lawrence O Donnell doesn't take the bait... You can see Tweety's smile turn to a frown....
It's hard to win with the media spin....
Lawrence O'Donnell is top shelf IMHO.... He never bashs Dems... He said he would never vote for Ahnuld because voting Democratic is a matter of religion with him... He also was the late Pat Moynihan's chief of staff....

4. Tweezer's Been Getting Pimp-Slapped Lately |
|
Last night VENTURA wouldn't be quieted, held on to the screen longer, said that it was absolutely NOT FAIR for DAVIS to be excluded from the CA debate, that when VENTURA (finally) gets his own show going, he is going to give the full hour to DAVIS. Later, when they gave extra air time to Ahhhhnuld after the forum, VENTURA said THAT wasn't fair. Tweety sat there unable to override his macho "colleague". The shit-eaten look on his face said, "This, after I fawned endlessly over this guy for years."

He must have changed his mind about the recall. Last time I saw him talk about it, he was talking about it being the will of the people. But last night, he poo-pooed the whole thing since the signatures were gathered by paid sig gatherers. He must have done some homework and good for him.
Ventura put the Tweet in a Half Nelson and the Tweet went limp. Yeah - Tweet's been kissing up. Guess Ventura wasn't impressed with the chump change Tweet leaves on the nightstand.

I wonder who Ventura voted for in 00...
He's says he a liberterian but he sounds like a moderate Democrat to me....

16. He Bashes Both Dems/Repukes (sound familiar?) |
|
He also said that in MN their recall mechanism includes a review by a court of the content of the reasons for the signatures for CAUSE, MISDEEDS by the office-holder ----not just removing just because. He sez he's buddies with Ahhhnuld but that doesn't stop him from shooting his mouth. But Tweety was LIMP, all right. The look on this face was almost, like, "Enough with these celebrity amateur politcians, maybe I've been wrong and could we go back to PROFESSIONAL POLITICAL hacks for me to jabber with now?" -------naw, he wouldn't repent.

3. O'Donnell is a class act, and he's no winger media ho, either. |
|
I posted this in another thread about Tweety, but thought I'd repost it here, as it pertains specifically to O'Donnell:
Thank God O'Donnell is the "Senior" Political Analyst on MSNBC. It appears he actually watched the debates, and isn't keen on bashing Dems along with Tweety and Fineman (MWO's Whore of the Year 2002, and let's not forget it).
Oh, and I can't forget to mention that Tweety just called Clinton's first stimulus package "Stinky-Poo," and called Clinton's second stimulus package "Monica Lewinsky."
What a hack.
Then, Tweety said, "Will Clark end with bad buzz in all of this because he really didn't engage on the issues?"
O'Donnell replied, forcefully and with a little incredulous anger, "He DID, Chris! He did engage on the issues! He engaged on trade, he did NOT pander on trade the way Gephardt does! There's a lot more substance in Clark than you're willing to give him credit for, Chris."
O'Donnell declared Clark the "real world" winner of the debate, for what it's worth. Fineman said "I don't know," in response to the who won question, while that rather unfortunate-looking Moonie Times fella said Dean won, which I really can't argue with, either.

and I want to kick this thread...
He wrote a 00 New Yorker article where he'd eat his magazine if * won....
He's also a writer for West Wing....
Tweety called Clinton's stimulus package stinky poo.... It was a measley sixteen billion dollars out a one and one half trillion dollar budget...
Tweety doesn't bash Bush's one and one half trillion dollar tax cut that wrecked the budget...
Tweety has sold his soul...
He has become Fox Lite....

12. He Should Advise Clark |
|
He's got great political instincts....
Wes Clark is what he is....
He's not a career politician and it shows...
Gep, Edwards, Dean, Kerry, Lieberman, Moseley Braun.... They are smooth...

I think Edwards won the debate....
He was poised...
He gave cogent answers...
He has the Clinton mojo....
IMHO, debates aren't overrated George W Bush lost every Republican debate in 2000 and still won the nomination because he was George W Bush...

10. Wow. So Tweety already concedes Dems will lose the WH in '04. |
|
He just asked that boyish-looking RW pundit, "Will Bush kick Cheney off the ticket and run somebody like Giuliani, to prepare for Hillary Clinton in '08?"
Again, may I say... what a hack. A hack with no political instincts, and who doesn't even read his own network's most recent polling, at that...

But it's just like rubbernecking at the scene of a highway accident. You just can't look away.
He gives us something to vent about, even if it's useless and futile, and he is an easy target, which makes it sorta fun, in a self-punishing kinda way.
Hey, are you sure he's beating the Food Channel??
