Yesterday, I posted a thread about requesting funds for flowers for Andy's service. claudiajean posted a thread on the homepage that the family would like the monies to go towards a memorial wreath, so we will forward the funds on to them for this.

Additionally, some people have indicated a reluctance to use PayPal.

I prefer sending a check directly to Ted and Andy's mom
because I also want to write a letter to Ted to tell him about
something Andy wanted to do for him.

I don't know if Andy told himabout it, it was going to
be a surprise because Andy wanted to give back to him

17. A couple things if I may: I have no problem with paypal used it for years

but I also have an aversion to buying flowers for the departed no matter how much I loved and respected them...I won't do it even for close family (but I'm a curmudgeon who doesn't believe in funerals either)...however if there is an alternative (such as Ted/Andy's family needing assistance, or a charity or cause he'd have approved of) I'll be more than happy to contribute to some or all those. I made several donations in the previous effort.
