It's awesome. I've posted this here before but in case it was missed. I was at my youngest daughters "end of school party" and watched 75 kids aged 8-11 bouncing up and down and singing American Idiot, they knew all the words and played it over and over. As an Expat I would have worried about my daughter, who was born in the states, except that she is the one who brought it in and was singing louder than any of them.

2. I post this video almost every night

at least, when somebody else doesn't. Big media won't play it, no matter how big the song is. I think that it's a telling tale of what might really be happening...

Green Day has come so far...

MTV will not play this video? This is the last straw for me and MTV. They would not play a Kayne West video because of an image of a burning cross.

As for Green day, you all should listen to the complete CD. Every song tells a story from beginning to end. They have always been my favorite band but this last CD really tugs at the heart strings. It's not just another punk band CD. It really makes you think about what is going on in America today. Not that anyone on DU needs to think more about the situation our country is in.
