Our local news just reported that CA is sending help to Florida

The crews are DRIVING there..leaving tonight.. I appreciate the fact that we are generous, but with gasoline costing what it does, and with time being a factor,it seems a bit silly to me.

Last year during Ivan, trucks carrying ice were dispatched from MICHIGAN.. I remember thinking at the time... "Did all the neighboring states lose the recipe for ice?
