Clinton mentioned in a sermon... |
|
I was watching this sermon and the guy is pretty good and pretty nuteral. He's talking about planting seeds and getting something back (like the economy) and how it came from years before too and it all builds up. This preacher was saying "look what Clinton did" and named some other people. He wasn't bashing Clinton or anything like that. I was surprised. He was just saying how Clinton's economy bubble got help from years before too. He just continued it on and did a balanced budget. I thought it was interesting how someone mentioned Clinton without mentiong he messed something up (heh) or his little Lewinsky incident.

1. Well actually Reagan got us way in the red |

which is part of the reason Clinton made it to the White House. Ross Perot started his 3rd party and got lots of votes because of his charts showing how deep in debt the country was. Clinton got the Congress to raise some taxes on the richest people without Republican help. Then the economy took off and we had a surplus. Unfortunately many of the Dems who were responsible were defeated by Republicans who campaigned on the slogan. Vote Republican--it's less taxing. I would guess some of the people who voted Republican wish now that they had a job and needed to pay taxes.

is the most infamous TV 'seed preacher' I've ever seen.
Tilton spouts anything on any issue 'bout politics, politicians or anything else. All he cares about is gettin' you to send him that 'seed money' that will change everything in your life.
"Planting seeds" is what made me automatically think of Tilton who is all about that 'seed-thing.' If not Tilton, then how different the message? Send me money?
BTW, saying -- in effect -- that Clinton was the recipient of Reaganonomics is primal -- gut level -- right-wing fundamentalism.
