He's a piece of work, all right.

On a related note, I was listening to Marketplace on NPR last week and my jaw almost dropped to the floor when they said that that day's Marketplace segment was sponsored by Direct TV. I somehow doubt that Direct TV would have given a dime to NPR before the new corporate pattern. I've noticed some other annoying differences in their reporting on NPR, mainly on Morning Addition. I miss Bob Edwards!

Sorry, not to hijack your thread or anything. I agree about Tomlinson, he stinks. How about that nonsense about him having nothing to do with decisions about programming? What a joke. :grr:

4. Even Arlen Specter gave him what-for!
Amazing! Specter is questioning them quite strongly on why they think there's a liberal bias on public broadcasting - quite interestsing

Wish he'd be one-quarter this tough on judicial nominees that come before him!
