anyone hear about this... |
|
this was posted on another website...this pro republican posted this about WMD and Hillary Clinton...
(quote) She says Iraq HAS weapons of mass destruction! and backs President Bush on this issue (which has the Angry Left obsessed and everyone else bored silly):
"The intelligence from Bush 1 to Clinton to Bush 2 was consistent" in concluding Saddam had chemical and biological weapons and was trying to develop a nuclear capability, she said this morning. And Saddam's expulsion of weapons inspectors and "the behavior" of his regime "pointed to a continuing effort" to produce WMD, she added.
She said she did her own "due diligence" by attending classified briefings on Capitol Hill and at the White House and Pentagon and also by consulting national security officials from the Clinton administration whom she trusts. "To a person, they all agreed with the consensus of the intelligence" that Saddam had WMD.
That President Bush, who is honest, and Sen. Clinton, who is politically calculating, agree on this matter suggests that Republicans been right all along: The Angry Left's effort to attack the president by trying to exonerate Saddam Hussein are both mendacious and politically foolish. (end quote) ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone else heard this...I am googling right now to find a source...they like to say this stuff but never provide a source to back it up...and they usually take things so far out of context it's not funny...
Any thoughts...?

1. BOTH the clintons base(d) their position on the 1998 Iraq Security |
|
Commission report, by none other than Donald Rumsfeld.
It's suggested googling, as is the source of the people who appointed the commission in the first place.
So, in that info on the bush regime was very subversive until only recently, few had reason to think that rummy was a fucking liar.

2. She made those remarks awhile ago |

It appears the intelligence was wrong for years but the Clinton administration never acted on it by launching a war on Iraq (thank God). It's quite amusing to see Repukes citing Hillary to back their case when they hate her guts. :eyes:
