Why is is Novak not under investigation?

If this question has been posted a thousand times, my apologies.

I've not been able to find anything that explains why Novak hasn't even been subpoenaed, why he doesn't face the same outcome as Miller, etc...

Many thanks!

2. That's a good question,
I think they are going after the big fish like Rove.

12. What Novak did would be illegal in Britain
but not in the US.

I don't think there's anything a reporter could publish that would be a criminal offense over here.

5. How do you know he's not?
Fitzgerald has run a tight ship. We don't really know where he's going with this investigation. Novak might have already made a deal or he pleaded the 5th. Either way, he'll be toast soon enough.

9. I've posted this elsewhere, but it bears repeating...
This one's drivin' me crazy, cuz so many people seem to believe that Bob Novak is UNTOUCHABLE in all this...
And I don't buy that.

Novak should've been in jail months and months ago; he could've gotten the cell all homey and nice for Karl by now...
There's NO QUESTION about what HE did. HE took top-secret info and PUBLISHED it for all to see. What, is he NEW to this journalism game???

And people keep saying he didn't break any law... ?

I would think they'd have him dead-to-rights for treason--but I'm NOT a lawyer...
Still, this seems fairly straightforward to me, and I'm sure to many others as well... HE revealed this stuff, even MORE than Rove...
Where is his responsibility?
It's like Rove handed him a loaded gun... but he's the one who took aim at Plame's ENTIRE network and fired.
I'm NOT a lawyer (I LIKE saying that; gives me a nice warm feeling inside!), but I think it MORE than meets the definition... between Rove and Novak, you've got not just treason, but criminal conspiracy to commit treason...
But again, I'm not a lawyer... I don't even play one on tv...

STILL... he didn't just sell secrets to the Chinese, y'know? He alerted EVERY intelligence network ON EARTH of Ms. Plame's ENTIRE operation, for anyone who knows how to snoop even a bit... and that's what intelligence agencies do. They snoop.
So... I just don't get it.
Hope others with legal expertise or a helpful link will weigh in...
Cuz if there's NOT a law, there sure OUGHTA be, huh?

Y'know, this is NOTHING like the Pentagon Papers... and wasn't it Time Warner, along with the entire MSM, trumpeting that slogan "9/11 Changed EVERYTHING!" over and over to excuse the many grave wounds our own freedoms have suffered under these greedy incompetent boobs?
Well, maybe the laws about press people not revealing TRAITORS should change, like EVERYTHING else has changed... wouldn't that be kinda poetic?
If you discover a traitor, doesn't ANY citizen have a responsibility to blow the whistle on 'em?... and if you don't, isn't that aiding and abetting?
The MSM themselves have been and continue to be the GREATEST traitors to our country and its ideals, in their 5 years of silent complicity with this renegade and lawless administration... and now it's coming back to bite them on the ass! HA!
And if people really can't see the sense in having some balanced rules regarding a free press's responsibilities to the free country they inhabit, even so, I'm still keepin' an open mind; perhaps where a simple Treason charge against Novak cannot be applied, a high suspicion of Conspiracy to Commit Treason, along with his pal Karl, may do nicely...

And again, I'm NOT a lawyer, nor do I play one on tv... but I'll bet I'd be pretty damn good in the part!
If the money was right...
yoyo

10. Because he sang like a canary, and probably got immunity
He's ashamed to admit that he ratted on his pals, so he chooses to ignore requests to tell about his role..
