What does this advertisement for radiounderground.us even mean? Was FDR and Lincoln tyrannical leaders? And why is Stalin and Hitler on the American flag.

UGH! Stupid people on the right annoy me. Stupid people on our side downright pisses me off.

On edit...made it a question

The site lists an e-mail address: mty@circpros.com
http://www.despotism.us/contact.php
http://www.radiounderground.us

On edit: I just e-mailed that contact.

9. Micah Young's reply

Please note, this is simply an excerpt from a reply to my e-mail inquiry to the site's owner. I am not passing judgement either way on his sentiments. I am merely posting here the essence of his reply which was polite and respectful. If you want to decide for yourself, then you should visit his site and listen to his radio show.

The site is not about mass murderers or Eurasian dictators. If it were, the inclusion of Lincoln and Roosevelt would certainly be inaccurate. The site is about the creep of tyranny in our own federal government, and Lincoln and Roosevelt presided over massive power grabs by the federal government. As such, they are accurately portrayed alongside the more extreme examples of machiavelian would-be despots.

I do not assign motives to these men who are considered 'great' by most people. I simply judge their actions through the prism of the long-term effects to individual liberty.

2. That doesn't make sense to me. I don't get the point they are trying
to make. FDR and Lincoln are like Hitler and Stalin?
:wtf:

4. Maybe
Edited on Mon Jul-11-05 01:29 PM by UCSBLiberalCat53
some extreme right-wingers think Lincoln was a tyrant in freeing the slaves. You know, states' rights has to supercede emancipation. We all know that FDR presided over our American Socialist Revolution. :sarcasm:

I don't know why our side would make such a thing. I'm totally baffled.

3. Maybe they fought
tyranny? Not a clear message if that is the case.

5. Here's a statement from "The EDITOR" of their message board:
http://www.despotism.us/forum/threads.php?id=11_0_3_0_C

SNIP:
The Democratic Party is a known commodity, and very few serious and thinking individuals are actually supporters of the Democratic Party. It is made of of cynical machiavellians (the leadership), dyed in the wool socialist/communists (the base), and the non-working poor underclass who are all too happy to have more and more handouts (the voter, if you send a bus to round them up, and you successfully work around 'Montel').

The Republicans are more stealthy, and in my estimation, more dangerous to our cause. They say the right things (smaller government, personal responsibility, low taxes, etc.....), but all the while pursue an agenda that is every bit as dangerous as what the democrats would implement. They are wolves in sheeps clothing, and are every bit as cynical as their counterparts. Certainly, there are a few 'true believers' who still see the party as the agent of change, but they have been co-opted and neutered, submerged in a system that demands 'compromise' in place of doing what is right. But they peel off many good folks, because they've bought in to the lie that the only alternative is what the Democrats offer.
ENDSNIP

I don't know (or CARE) what they call themselves,
those 2 paragraphs are enough for me to avoid them.

A FREEPER by any other name....

8. No matter whose "side" RadioUnderground claims, remember...
This is an ad. Not editorial content. It's not as though the Web site supports everything its advertisers say.
