WH reporters laugh after Scotty leaves
Wait for the end of the press conference and listen. They didn't cut the sound right away so you can hear the reporters laugh. Too good.

2. I mis-read the title of your post.
I thought it said "WH reporters laugh after Scotty leaks." Maybe he did and they were laughing at that too.

5. the difference is that the reporters have a selfish interest in Plame IMO
I think that the press isn't going to lie down on this Plame matter due to their self interest.

They have been sucking up to the WH to keep access, but if the WH is going to use and abuse reporters with planted stories, then the gloves come off.

9. I believe you hit the nail on the head
The Downing Street Memos which reflect the lies and bull passed out by this administration leading our nation to war hardly get a mention. The outing of a CIA agent by this administration would not garner near the attention that it has, if the press had not figured out that this administration was destroying their precious livelihood by exposing the courtiers or media whores for what they are and putting them in jail, self interest is awe inspiring isn't it? :sarcasm:

8. It makes me wonder what the chit chat was between them
... after it was over. They had a good time grilling him and enjoyed watching him squirm as much as we did it would appear. I just can't help but wonder what they were saying to each other as they were heading out. :D

the criminal investigation. When he thought it was in their favor, ol Scotty had NO problem commenting on Rove. They should have laughed right IN HIS FACE. THE WHITE HOUSE IS LYING...See Mr. Clinton for details on impeachment.

13. An did anyone notice how he said twice...."you all know me..." first to
Terry Moran and then to the gaggle..."you all know me" I was wondering how well they know him and why he was pleading with them to take a break because they all "know" him. How well do they know him? How could that group of "press" sit there day after day listening to his robotic mantra of Bush's policies..."Freedom will destroy the terrorists, they hate us and what we stand for, we will destroy them, they don't understand "freedom" ....yadda, yadda, yadda.

Now all of us sudden he pleads with citing "you all know me." SHEESH..:eyes:
