Would you say that Rove was closer to Bush than McDougall was |
|
to Clinton?
Just read that Faux has figured out that there is no way to hide the bad news on Rove so it's doing the next best thing. Trying to minimize the stink factor by distancing Rove from W. And I was just wondering, in lieu of how they used McDougall to get to Clinton, how successful they might be? Took them 20 years, but they did it. So I was just wondering how successful you thought Faux would be in trying to portray Rove as a loose cannon?

11. No calling what he did to Plame as "Clintonian" |
|
in other words, A move Clinton would make. Still finding a way to smear Clinton while Rove is the one breaking the law....

13. There is no way he can stick that characterization. |
|
Clinton may have had a personal moment of bad judgment, but it was just that: a personal moment. What Rove has been doing is sheer Machiavelli.
I will say this, once it becomes clear what Bush knew and when did he know it, it is going to be vindicated moment for the Democrats to do a Benjamin Franklin comparison on the two.

is, take the spotlight off themselves and hopefully put it on someone else.... And it was Bay Buchanon who said this on CNN... She is Pat Buchanon with a dress on....

8. Susan McDougal was a victim of her nutjob ex-husband |
|
as much as she was of independent persecutor Ken "Porn" Starr. She was the innocent spouse of a man who took Bill and Hillary for the ride of their lives with Whitewater, which the Repunks spun into a scandal.
Rove, on the other hand, is Winchell to Bush's Mahoney.

10. Susan McDougall was an innocent. I think we all agree. |
|
But it was her husband, who made ill-advised business decisions. I was referring to him. I just couldn't remember his first name?

and unbelievable as a witness. She would of made a great witness for them. They even offered her a story already made up, so she would not have to make one up... they were low in the pursuit of President Clinton....
