6. There seems to be a lot of politics going on, even within VFP.

It is a heartbreaker. Many times over. I can't do it alone and Vets that are leading dropping off. I don't know what to do. Quit, stay with? I am at a loss. Please forgive me. Peace. S

but I am a bit out of the loop right now and far from Texas. There is a pretty active VFP group here, I will try to find out what they are doing.

I am sorry to hear about divisions happening within the org.

I would have attended the conference in Dallas, but I made plans earlier this year for out-of-town company. You We are not alone. Your brothers and sisters are out there every day, pounding the bricks and educating folks about the folly of war. It's natural to feel an occasional letdown; we all do. Hang in there......

There is so much potential here and I do get discouraged. I'm sorry. I just so much want to make a difference and I do get overwhelmed with the enormity of the task. I truly would have lost my mind without you all at DU.

13. The VFP, IVAW, and VVAW are visible at almost every gathering

around here. In the beginning there were one or two brave souls who stood alone; we are well past that time.

We are making a difference. Continue to speak out against war, the poverty draft, the veterans health care issues, and depleted uranium. Focus your passion and passion on one issue; learn everything you can about it and educate those you talk with.
