Who is your favorite current Governor?
I like both Jennifer Granholm of Michigan and my AZ gov Janet Napolitano quite a bit.

But,I'm partial to my home state governor. Brian Schweitzer of Montana. He criticizes Bush and told a journalist that he would personally put Osama bin Laden's head on a stick, haha.

4. Montana's Governor
Brian Schweitzer... anyone who can pry the state of Montana from the hands of the pugs is someone who holds a lot of appeal!

14. Lived in Montana as well...
This has been coming for some time now; the demographics are changing drastically as people discover the state. I spend vacations up there because I really miss the beauty...

Thanks for the welcome!

6. Easy one . . .
Jennifer Granholm, hands down! She's intelligent and well-spoken. Now, if only she could be president. If you don't know much about her, do some research. You will be impressed. I think she deserves a post in the next administration but I'd hate for Michigan to lose her.

She has common sense which seems lacking in so many politicians these days.

18. Our governor here in MI: Jennifer Granholm
This woman is a combination of grace, genius and determination. We're lucky to have her and I hope with the next election we get to keep her.

When there was ruminations of allowing foreign-born naturalized citizens to run for President, as much as I puked over the thought of Ahnuld Fur President I then realized that Jennifer could then run (she is Canadian-born).

Edited on Tue Jul-12-05 01:16 PM by RummyTheDummy
A genuinely nice person in a not-so-nice business. Against long odds he upset fundie douche bag Steve Largent in a close race in 2002 and is poised to win re-election next year. No easy task for a dem in this state.
