When is today's White House briefing?
I checked on the C-Span site, even the White House site. Nothing. nada. Anybody have any idea when we can see Scottie again?

1. Walking out the door with his severance check, hopefully?
Not that it will happen, Scottie's too good at lying.

3. Under the old rules
(unwritten of course) of politics, Scottie would be announcing his resignation about now...

You see, he has no credibility left. He spent it, or, more precisely, squandered it spinning the WH lies early on in this investigation. Under the "old rules" that should be fatal to his position.

Under the "old rules" John Kennedy deliberately withheld information from his press secretary during the Cuban Missile Crisis because, as he later told the secretary, "I didn't want my Press Secretary in the position of deliberately deceiving the press corps". Those were the "old rules". If you lie, then you lose your credibility and then you are no longer fit for the job. Credibility is the currency of public relations.

Scottie was put in the postion to deliberately deceive the press corps, and by extension, the American people. He has spent his currency. He is bankrupt: morally and professionally bankrupt.
