Comprehensive counter-recruitment list from RW rag
This is from a radical rightwing place, but has a really good list of counter recruitment places, complete with descriptions and websites. Here are the first couple paragraphs from the story mentioning groups, and a list of the websites they mention in case you don't know about them and don't want to visit the conservative's website. I know of some of these groups, am involved with some, but do not know them all.

The latest attack on the U.S. by its Fifth Column enemies is aimed at stopping the Armed Forces from enlisting new recruits. Faced with a flagging anti-war movement, leftist agitators have shifted gears and are now subverting the War on Islamist Terror by trying to destroy America’s ability to maintain a fighting force. Though so far limited in success, this counter-recruitment movement is growing quickly and threatens to wreck America’s ability to defend itself from its enemies.

Nation-wide there are hundreds of small organizations involved in this counter-recruitment movement. They formulate strategies based on those of prominent traditional pacifist groups. Almost all of them are directed by a handful of well established “social justice” and “peace” groups with long histories of anti-U.S., pro-communist and pro-totalitarian alignments and agendas. All the larger pacifist and radical groups work with each other, with the smaller groups and with the Legal Left to coordinate what amounts to a broad national movement.(more)

2. LMAO . . . "flagging" anti-war movement?
I guess this jackass didn't realize that the majority of Americans now say the war was unwarranted and they disapprove of Bush's handling of it.

peace? I think the largest counter recruitment group is the Bush Administration and their war in Iraq!

Edited to clarify.

5. No, it also gives alternatives to enlisting
They give alternatives to enlisting and information about what the military and war are really like. Can't find a job, need college money, want to travel the world, learn a good skill? Don't join the military. Unless you really want to. Be aware recruiters (as a whole) lie and do not care one whit about you, no matter what they say. If you want to enlist, go ahead. If you don't, here are some options.

11. Yes, I am amused by the whole article
Paraphrased: look at what these lumatics are doing, here are all the webpages right here, see? This one is doing this, that one that, right here is how to find them. Oh, and they don't support the troops and war and are hate filled communists. But if you want to help, here is how to find them.

12. And the beauty of it all is:
Some people will actually check the sites out, see they support the troops, and heaven forbid, learn to stop taking these Horowitzbots at their word. Even if it's only one out of every 100 readers, it's a changed mind, and each one matters.

8. Parents across America think alike
Gee wiz, I don't work with any of those groups and still talked 4 "kids" out of enlisting while bush is in office. The most successful anti-recruiter has been a soldier home on leave.

The R's whining and laying blame on peacekeepers is laughable.

Thanks for posting, I'm sending a small donation to one of those groups now.

9. Actually I've been trying to increase the military force
but the republicans just flip me off or call me loser .

It seems to me it's the republicans that are cutting
Veterans benefits and dissing our soldiers by lying to
them .

Put up or shut up . Enlist Now .

just a liberal doing my part to increase
the strength of our Military .

10. The left has been trying to recruit more soldiers
but the Young/College Republicans believe that they have better things to do than put THEIR lives on the line. Besides, they "do shit" . . .
