His original post is from 2001 and he is saying he needs 22K a month to run their funny site. Guess what? Bandwidth is way cheaper today than it was 4 years ago.

I was paying $2 per gig in 2001. Now I pay 30 cents per gig on my dedicated server... and there are much cheaper hosts.

AFAIK unlike DU, RimJob's site is a one man operation, so it beats the hell out of me why he would need 22K a month to run the shitty looking site? Even if the site burns 200GB a day (which I doubt very much) at 50 cents a gig is 3K per month.

I think RimJob is ripping the freepers off big time :shrug:
