Today, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers awarded its highest
honor to President Bush as an acknowledgement of his visionary leadership in Manufacturing. The citation said, and I quote, " at a time when American Manufacturing is beset by increasing costs, poor profits, shoddy quality and determined competition, you have brought a ray of hope to this important activity for Americans. You have literally invented a new Manufacturing business in which America no longer have to worry about competition. You are a marvel and a savior.
Your manufacturing of terrorists by the thousands all over the world without any end must rank with the genius of Genghis Khan himself. And that manufacture of terrorists galore brings on additional industries such as Security companies, protective wear for men and women, night vision devices, concealed cameras, stealth guns and myriad other devices that can keep Americans productively occupied and happy knowing they are doing God's work."<[br />
By this citation, the Board of Governors of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, anoints President Bush the Manufacturing Genius of the New Century.

2. I used to belong to SME myself and thought this would be a good
parody but sometimes parodies have a way of coming true before you even put it to ink.

5. Hey, if putting patties
on a bun is manufacturing, then this is also. But then I was a conventional machinist/toolmaker, so what do I know.

4. It's good stuff - but you forgot to mention bush's desire to include
fast food employees as manufacturers. They do "manufacture" burgers.
