On July 7, there were seven letters Bush-bashing and two letters for the president.

Mr. Editor, are you picking out letters and publishing this large number of Bush bashers on purpose? Bush is president and deserves to be treated with respect.

These letter writers simply hate the president and want us to lose the war against terror. They all are in line for the next bomb from al-Qaida.

The terrorists are not human and must be wiped out. At least Hitler had an army and waged war. The terrorists cover up their faces and convince their young to blow themselves up in the name of Allah.

Pelosi, Gore, Kennedy, Kerry and both Clintons, et al, want us to lose the war.

They aid and abet the enemy with their rhetoric, thus giving the terrorists hope we will pull our troops out and they will win.

Listen to the Brits after their bombing. They are more convinced than ever they will prevail against the enemy. And no detainees should be allowed to leave Gitmo.

It is known that they just go back to Zarqawi and kill more soldiers.

Folks, we've got to get serious about understanding this terrorist business. Some of us already are, including our president. You anti-war people just don't get the big picture.

This nice, "peaceful" religion is very serious about world domination in order to export their religion so that it will take the place of all the other "ignorant" religions. Muslims are quietly moving into many countries, including America and European countries, and why do you think they are doing that?

I can hardly wait to read, on these very pages, that the innocent British civilians who were killed by these murdering Muslims died because President Bush invaded Iraq. You people who believe that need to step back and take a good look at what is really going on.

This is a "movement," not just a few guys who are mad at us. If we had not been keeping them busy in Afghanistan and Iraq, you would have been seen more devastation here in America.

Projection is when you feel a certain way, and project this onto other people. For example, say, for instance, just as a random example, you would like to push your religion and values onto others elsewhere. So you then assume that everyone else is trying to do this to you. The logical (or illogical) conclusion would be that we had better do it to them first.

So, is Islam being spread forcefully around the world? Especially by Iraqis and their folks? Or do they want to have their own country to do what they wish (say, for example, for instances example, Iran)?
