did anyone catch the cartoon on SNL last Saturday? The Corporate media is trying their hardest to play this up like a huge deal -but hears what we should ask the American media:
50 Iraqis die everyday, why are 50 dead British so much more important, so much more newsworthy? -because they are white?

I see no evidence that the London Bombing helped them politically in any way whatsoever.

his numbers. He's been foundering big time for the past 2 months, and now, his numbers bump up 3 percentage points.

7. Only three points? Is that within the margin of error? |

I think that shows that this didn't help Bush much at all. People see that our allies are having to deal with attacks from inside. It is only a matter of time before some kind of attack occurs here.
I don't think the GOP can call this much of an increase in confidence.

8. Depends on how they spin it. |
|
The Pundits and other talking heads could come to the same conclusion that you did, or they can make it sound like Bush is endearing himself to the public again by being steadfast and resolute in the face of terrorism (I can't believe I just typed that without yaking...). If the track record has anything to say about it, I'd bet on the latter rater than the former.
