LOL...so what else is new, right?
Here it is.
We start offering a "Real Reporter" award for those who actually DO THEIR FREAKIN' JOB! We can mass e-mail the station/paper, whatever, with congratulations and praise once a week when a reporter/commentator stays on point and doesn't let him/her self get distracted from the real news by some bullshit.
Oh, I know...it's just crazy. But fun to think about.

I'd of course include Helen Thomas, but they've exiled her so far out, you almost never hear her anymore.

depend on others to send that info my way.
I get my news HERE these days. LOL. I don't even know half the reporters/talking heads out there. It's DU or AAR for me. I even stopped listening to NPR. For the time being, at least.
