John Gibson of Fox News: Rove deserves a medal for outing Plame
Edited on Tue Jul-12-05 10:12 PM by Quixote1818
Man, FOX has been on a roll this week! First they want to blow up France and Profit off the UK terrorist attack and now John Gibson wants to give Benedict Arnold a medal for compromising our National Security.

:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

Fox News: Anti National Security
FOX News anchor John Gibson just said onair that he thought Karl Rove deserves a medal if he outed Valerie Plame. Let me repeat: John Gibson, anchor at the FOX News Channel, says he believes that we ought to expose our covert government agents and harm national security… as long as it benefits Republicans.

These people are sick, and a danger to America.

1. Gibson needs to get fired
and sent to Gitmo or to France and tied to the Eiffel Tower and beat by pissed off French men and their berets.

5. Oh, yuck...
I never watch TV, but I made the mistake of clicking on that link. I feel contaminated. Is it even POSSIBLE for a human being to be that foul and despicable?

13. We need a 527 that runs national TV commercials exposing how
unpatriotic and insane FOX news is. They are out of control!

18. But the freepers worship every word he says.
Case in point. <http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/7/13/15011/2295>

snip

"sorry, but are you folks saying that Wilson outed his own wife? Am I missing something here?

A response was quick and polite....

"Yes. It was on "The Big Story" with John Gibson today on FOX. Wilson had her name and CIA status on his website loooong before Roves e-mail. Judge Napolitono (sp?) was discussing it. He was holding back a laugh, that's for sure!

Further down, there is another post with fact, and the poster did not get one response...not one!

"Did the INR commission and pay for Wilson's trip to Niger?"

This question intrigued me, so for fun I went to the INR web-site and did a search on the name 'Joseph Wilson' And serendipitously hit upon this little jewel:

"July 6, 2003: The New York Times published an article in which former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson described his mission to Niger, in which he had been unable to find evidence that Iraq had attempted to purchase uranium there. The next day, the White House conceded that President Bush had relied on "incomplete and possibly inaccurate information" when he mentioned in his State of the Union address that, according to the British Government, Iraq had tried to obtain uranium in Africa."

So, I posted it. Now, realize, this is information direct from the INR's web-site. Part of the State Department of the administration these whackos so proudly (blindly?) follow.

And guess what? Totally ignored. Yep.

is the way he should be handled. Fox news becoming the Pro Treason/Pro Torture network.

19. That phrase must be part of the
talking points that are going around-Peter King just said those exact words on Scarborough's show tonight. King also said that Tim Russert should be shot for allowing Joe Wilson to talk for an entire hour on his MTP show.

21. Yep.
Those were Peter King's exact words. Joe Scarborough looked decidedly uncomfortable after that little pronouncement. Just imagine the hand-wringing and hysteria that would have ensued had a democrat said the same thing about O'Reilly or Mr. Hannity.

I figured Karl was due for his Medal of Freedom; let's have "for exposing government workers to peril and maybe death" engraved on his.
