If Karl didn't know Plame was covert, why NOT give her name? |
|
Being the thorough guy he is, I'm sure to debunk Wilson's claim on Niger, he would have gone all out, names and all.
He didn't give her name because he knew she was covert, and so he would have an "excuse" ala "oral sex is not sexual relations by definition".
He did not "knowingly" out a covert agent because he didn't give her name.
This isn't to say that he didn't give her name. Maybe he gave it to Miller, and not Cooper.
He knew she was covert. This shows his intent.

so how do you know that he knew she was covert?
That would certainly prove intent but from all of the stuff I've read about it, they all say that it was impossible to tell if he knew she was undercover.......

mention her at all? If she was just little Mrs. Wilson, what would have been the frickin' POINT of mentioning her? Rove knew. He knows EVERYTHING. "Bush's brain", remember?

If he didn't know she was covert, then he would have had no problem mentioning the name.
