Oh the irony! I just found out that the CIA Headaquarters at Langley
is called The George Bush Center for Intelligence. Somebody should be kicking themselves over that one.

20. It's been that way for years, hasn't it?
I always noticed it, but it isn't named after W, it's the first Bush. I've been in DC for 13 years and I can't remember ever not seeing that sign on the parkway. Anyone have any idea when it was named?

3. That should be ILLEGAL.
Even though I'm sure it's named for the Popster instead of Bush the Lesser.

4. Can you even imagine how angry Poppy Bush is at Junior Bush?
Junior destroying CIA assets; Junior setting up his own intelligence operations via the Neocons; Junior protecting a traitor; Junior committing treason.

No wonder Poppy spends more time with Clinton than with his own spawn.

17. Probably
Poppy worked hard to get the CIA where it's at today and Bush has ruined it. I did think it was mighty strange when Barbara Bush called Clinton a "son".

14. Another "irony" here on the DU web site
Okay, it's a little off-topic. Sorry -- I'm a new user and don't have enough karma points to start my own thread yet. (Hey, DU sysadmins -- what's with that rule, anyway?)

Anyway...I was laughing out loud when I looked at the filename of the little tornado icons in the "10 idiots" page, and found out that they mean "spin" and not what I thought they meant. I saw three of them next to a quote by Dubya, and I just assumed that "tornado" meant "sucks like a tornado".

Well, ya gotta admit it makes sense!

. . . hub caps will start sticking to my head?" Something like that.

Welcome to DU :hi:
