A nuke terror attack on the US is coming

1. Nobody lives forever.
Enjoy life now.

Dunno about the future; but we are all given the gift of life. Seems stupid to NOT life/enjoy it.

11. Yeah and when it does I'm 25 miles from a WAY underrated...
...target-Portsmouth Naval Shipyard....Think about it,New Hampshire/Maine border, bit of a security backwater, less than 50 miles from Boston w/BONUS-there is usually a Nuke sub or two hanging around for refits....Nuclear power plant handy (less than 5 Miles) wait for a northerly wind or BETTER still A Nor'easter and BINGO-game over,Boston gone... Children, can you spell "target rich environment"??? I hate to even post this but it is SO obvious...while these clowns protect the NY/Wash D.C./Chicago/L.A. axis, the real threat is that our enemies probably have an IQ over 50 and will probably SHIFT tactics for their next strike. And across this country there are a dozen or more "non-symbolic" targets that could teach us what real damage is...Jersey chemical plants,Washington State nuclear plants or HOW ABOUT a little 757 action at Ft. Dietrich Maryland??? Meanwhile "security" drills will role across statues and monuments across the nation...Protect the Statue of Liberty, the Lincoln Memorial and probably even (shudder) YELLOWSTONE!!! But my bet is the next attack will be coastal...think "short deviation" from international airspace...think an Aer Mexico flight that disappears in the Gulf of Mexico (when it drops below radar coverage) and a series of blasts at an lpg terminal near New Orleans that closes the Mississippi to navigation. In short I am scared and not of what the government tells me-I'm not that bright and these are ways I considered to screw this country in 20 minutes.I'm betting our leaders haven't

4. In terms of a sane world,
once 9/11 happened all bets were off. We're now living in a sci-fi nightmare.

I hope Wesley Clark gets in in 2008 to help steer us towards a more progressive 21st Century.

5. I dare not imagine the US response should such a disaster occur
The reaction to 9/11 was terrifying enough, but potentially something we can recover from eventually. In the wake of the terrorist nuking of a major (or minor) metropolitan area, I suspect it would be sufficient to render our nation unrecognizable.
