Where are the Dems talking points ? By now most of us have read
the RNC talking points. We know that several MSM shillers have been on tv all day asking GOP shit heads questions from the list of points. We can follow the bouncing ball - but we already know all of the lines.

So what did the DNC send out today to the MSM whores? Where are our talking heads? I know that we have hired consultants to help us craft our message? Where the hell are they and what are they getting paid for?

Lets make a list of points:

1) It appears that Karl Rove, and perhaps others in the White House have committed treason. Again, It appears that Karl Rove, and perhaps others in the White House have committed treason. Again, It appears . . . .

15. And we don't win elections, either
Talking Points are critical for Joe Barcalounger as his attention span doesn't extend beyond the next sound bite.

19. I don't run campaigns either ...
I just don't participate in them. They preclude communication rather than enhancing it.

Plus, they mean nothing. They are usually crap, puffery and generalities. Sometimes they stick which is unfortunate. My playing talking points or not will matter not at all to anyone. What people need is the truth, not more bullshit. Maybe that's why I don't run any campaigns. :D

5. American Progress Action Fund Daily Talking Points
Rove Undermined U.S. Security
July 13, 2005

There is a rogue element at the highest level of the Bush White House. The American public now knows that the president’s top adviser (Karl Rove) directly undermined U.S. national security by disclosing the name of a covert CIA agent (Valerie Plame) in an orchestrated effort to discredit her husband (Joe Wilson), an opponent of the administration’s use of intelligence in the run up to the Iraq war. Regardless of whether Rove is eventually indicted for violations of federal law, the president’s chief political “architect” is no longer worthy of the public’s trust.

Rove identified a covert CIA agent to a reporter and knew that his actions were wrong. As email records from Time reporter Matt Cooper show, Rove identified Valerie Plame as “Wilson’s wife,” a clear violation of at least the spirit of the law outlined in section 421 of the Intelligence Identities Protection Act, which states that "any information identifying covert agent" is illegal. Rove’s insistence of strict confidentiality in this discussion also shows that he knew precisely what he was doing and that his actions were at a minimum wrong and unsavory.

The president must live up to his promise to fire anyone involved in the case. This is no longer just about Rove. It’s about the president’s credibility. He has repeatedly told Americans that he would fire anyone at the White House who was involved in the matter. Rove has been fingered and the president should live up to his promise by removing him from his duties.

President Bush also owes Americans an explanation for how Rove was elevated to deputy White House chief of staff—a position that is responsible for coordinating national and homeland security policy. Rove has top level national security clearance in his current job, yet clearly cannot be trusted with this information. The public deserves to know what the president asked Rove about this case and what he learned in return before elevating him to such a senior position. Did the president know, or bother to ask, about Rove's role in leaking classified information before giving him a promotion?

7. Here's a couple of good ones...
...I picked up from an article I read earlier on Alternet:

1. Karl Rove endangered America.
2. Karl Rove retains his security clearance and the trust of President Bush, thus enabling him to do it again.

Here's the article: http://www.alternet.org/story/23506

8. Good- can you get on tv and say it over and over again ?
Where is our professional help ? I generally adhere to the party rule of not saying anything negative about other Dems but Tweety's show tonight cranked up my blood pressure.

20. TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!
Almost 15 fucking minutes of Mehlman and I was ready to SCREAM!!! I turned it off and went back a while later only to hear Andrea Mitchell saying America doesn't care about this, "it's too complicated," it's an "inside the beltway" problem, and my BP went up at least twenty points. I wanted to smash my tv!!!!!!

21. For sure, but my point is that this is our fault. Our side is not
showing up for the fight - just standing on the sideline like were watching a circus and don't have a vested interest in the outcome. DNC where are you ?

23. The eternal puzzle....
Maybe they are being prevented from "showing up?" I can't believe Tweety couldn't locate Howard Dean or someone to counter the spin. There's been a lot of Dems calling for Rove to be fired. Why wasn't one of them invited on the show? I was seeing no "fair and balanced" out there tonight and I was looking for it. Maybe it's the press' way of sucking up to KKKarl? Is it the media or is it our guys??

17. They're already out there
Not that anybody needs them--it's pretty obvious.

1) Rove leaked classified information about national security;
2) Bush said he would fire anyone who leaked classified information;
3) Bush needs to fire Rove, or he's not the straight-shootin', man of his word that he likes to pretend he is.
4) Oh yeah: CLASSIFIED INFORMATION ABOUT NATIONAL SECURITY.

today. I wonder if anyone on here has a copy?

Do you think they (DNC) spent the day trying to get up a list of available talking heads and circulated to the MSM today?
