Overall I think he was great. He is getting better all the time, he may eventually become the best interviewer. The best part is he manages to keep it funny and throws the guest off balance so the guest can't just throw out pre-planned lines, but has to think about what they are saying. Goldberg was an asshole, it's hard to defend someone like that. This interview will also make future guest a little more cautious - they can't assume Jon will roll over and buy into their spin. I have seen him do this with entertainers, it good to see him mix up the polticial hacks.

there's a chapter in his book called "I Bitch Slapped Bernie Goldberg" where he recounts how he points out a major factual error in Goldberg's other book Bias on national television.
