Why are dems and former policy makers the only ones who don't want China |

to buy the American oil company?
I'm watching CSPAN-2 the hearing about the Chinese company wanting to buy one of the American oil companies.
Seems that only dems, and former people (former CIA guy, and current president and CEO of Center for Security Policy) are against this deal.
Duncan Hunter, fucking republican fuck, heading up the hearing, seems to think it's a goddamned great idea.

Why do Dems persist in pushing old policies that no longer fit the world we live in?

Why sell off American companies to nations that violate human rights which harms our economy by reducing the number of jobs that require a degree?

or Japan? The countries you previously complained about?
Is a company for sale or isn't it?
Do you check out the past behavior of people who offer to buy your house?
Most jobs require a degree nowadays. It's an entry level requirement in most countries.
The world has been busy globalizing, while you've been busy complaining. Catch up.

If so many jobs that are entry level require a degree, why aren't they in my state? Why is it that most new jobs in my city are temp? If this globaliszation is so fine and dandy, why are jobs going overseas? Why is GM and Ford cutting jobs, Dell has 85% of it's workforce as temps (been there), and the only major that is useful anymore are MBAs with good contacts? Seems like we're losing while CEOs get more raises and perks.

To Republicans who want to allow it to be sold. I do see there point of limited oil reserves and the price of gas of which China can either sell oil to us at inflated prices or only sell to Chinese companies so they can get the oil they need to power the factories our companies sent there.
