So when DID Rove tell the Chimp that he was the "source?" |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-14-05 12:41 AM by BullGooseLoony
Chimpy came out two years ago and said that he was going to find out who blew Plame's cover, right? So when did Rove, as Chimpy's closest advisor, fess up to Bush?
And what did Bush do to reprimand him? Give him a stern talking to?
Or...was Rove just lying to/keeping it from Bush? And, since Bush was on this crusade to find the "real killer"...or whatever...is it acceptable that Rove would keep something so huge from him? Shouldn't he be fired for that, at least?

3. Rove is a loyal soldier |
|
My guess is he shielded Bush. If necessary, Rove will fall on his sword.
These guys will pretty much do whatever it takes for the long term. Individuals don't matter. Anyway, you can bet Rove will land on his feet. :(

6. This is their best case scenario. I'm just using their premises. |
|
Pointing out the inconsistencies.
Basically, what I'm saying is that even with what they're saying- which is just a bunch of lies- Rove has still committed acts that would necessitate his termination.
He either deceived the POTUS, or he didn't. And, if he didn't...

His Chimperial Highness is most likely a member of the conspiracy to get to Joe Wilson by outing his CIA wife.
Why? From the first, when the chimp has been asked, he has ALWAYS maintained, that if someone in the WH "DELIBERATELY" (insert sneer) leaked, they would be fired, etc. Meaning, he knew and was party to the revelation, but designed a cover your ass scenario in which they would claim that poor Karl was just a dummy to say so, no meanin' any harm. In my view, Bush was part of the conspiracy to embarass Wilson, and gave Karl the high sign to do so. The word "deliberately" comes from Gonzalez, a gift from the Chief Counsel to Monkey Boy, and that's the word they're taking to the bank.
Bush has known this all along -- or else why such careful language? Hey, I mean, he's gotten away with everything else, so why not this too?

5. When did Libby tell ANYONE he knew Rove was the source? |
|
(... and he was, too.) Cooper's testimony says he called Libby the next day to verify Plame.

9. And Who Does Scooter Work For? Huh Huh? LOL |
|
Oh how we all want a Crashcart on a stake here!
I can just see all these guys sittin' around Karl's kitchen as he fixes up some of them vittles he does for his Washington lapdog corporate Press Puppies (Candy gets TWO servings) while Dick goes over the plan and Bunnypants is busy twiddling his pasta. Cue to the soundtrack of The Godfather...
Next...Bunnypants gets upset at a phone call, hops in the car and is stuck at a tollbooth.

7. Rove wouldn't out a CIA agent without |

permission. Simple as that. Whatever tricks and evil stuff he does has to be run past the boss for approval. Bush knew from the get-go.

Bush probably told him to find a way to make it to where they could go to jail and Cheney was going over to the CIA a lot so he possibly could've known that Plame had the information from Wilson about the non-existance WMD stuff that they claimed to be getting. So once they found that out Rove and Cheney made up a plan and told Bush and Bush okay'd it. Everything is connected and leads up to Bush.
