I don't believe they really want to find Saddam now |
|
Look at the can of worms it would open up. With Saddam gone it would open the way for all the factions to go for each others throat. Without the fear of his returning the religio crazies would have free reign to seek revenge on the baathists who have had a foot on their neck for so long. It would also reinforce the argument that the job had been done now get out, not only by the iraqis, but the world as well. If there isn't any saddam why are we there? As well as the repiggies here at home, how do they justify expending American blood and treasure if the goal of getting saddam is done? Even the freepers would have to see the theft for what it is then. I think finding Saddam right now is a negative for the chimp*.

1. just like finding Osama |
|
who wants to capture an "evil doer" when you get so much more mileage from having them 'out there'.
What's sad is that most people don't pick up on this, even though it's the oldest governing trick in the book.

though i actually think it is more likely that both saddam and bin laden are already dead. While it may be convenient to have them still out there in the minds of the people, it is not very convenient for them to actually be still active.

4. If he were gone, who would we pin the blame on for attacks? |
|
Right now, they say that all the attacks against us over there are by "remnants of the previous regime" and "Baathist loyalists".
If Saddam were gone, then who would be attacking us? Would we be forced to acknowledge that we are in the midst of a guerrila war?

The bogey men under the bed.
You don't hear them, you don't see them, but you know they are there.
Just because they may not exist, dosn't mean you can't fear.
It's Patriotic to be afraid.

12. They're probably caught right now.. |
|
..and will be revealed at the most opportune time. The son's were caught and Saddam could'nt be to far behind. He's more visible than anyone, so where in the f..k could he be hiding for six months. Is'nt the bush regime guarding the afghan pipeline, so bin laden can't be found, or there is no use being there?

are probably kickin' back at the Pig Farm down in Crawford, just waiting for their next role - that of war criminal on trial.

10. Absolutely. They won't "find" Saddam or Osama Until It's |
|
Politically convenient next year. Then after "re-election" (hahaha!) they'll finally tackle N. Korea. Just a guess. ;)
It's a script written by a child.
