A think tank he works with advised the president to stay committed to iraq, provide security and not to 'cut and run' in making sure the job was done several months ago.
He said he was a colleague of several Neo-Cons, and that he felt they were ok guys. He never said he agreed with them. He was a general and many of them have worked in the defense department. Heck, he might have even drank a few beers with them!
Lets face it. It is hard to be a major NATO commander and not deal with these people. Lets face it, along with general Zinni, he has worked with the Washington think Tanks.
He said he voted for reagan once. So did my mom. So did most of the voters.

All of the evidence that he is part of some PNAC cable, unfortunatly, turns up nothing.

- You cite numbers reflecting totals after 6 years of open world war. Right now, the more apt comparison might be to 1940, not 1945. The total number killed were only maybe ten thousand, at that time. Looking at that situation your way, that would mean that the Nazis weren't really all that bad, in 1940. :eyes:
