"The case is not about a whistle-blower it's about retaliation against .." |

From the man himself: Patrick Fitzgerald: "This case," he said, "is not about a whistle-blower. It's about a potential retaliation against a whistle-blower." http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/30/AR2005063000205_2.html

And with that, my friends, you have CONSPIRACY.
So the next time a Bush-loyalist and anti-Democrat off-handedly tells me to go ahead and cling to a loony-tune conspiracy theory, I now have TWO (count 'em TWO) REPUBLICAN CONSPIRACIES on the record. :woohoo:

Stand by folks...the show is about to really begin. This train not only has left the station it's headed full steam into the next phase.
To use the Nixon analogy: It's not the break-in, it was the cover-up
To use the Clinton analogy: It wasn't the blow job, it was the lie.
This man worked his way up by busting crooked Democrats and underworld rats. He knows a conspiracy when he sees one.
The evil side of me hopes Mr. Fitzgerald waits a while before he makes his move. The brownstaining that must be going on when many of the beltway corporate media types must be intense.

Sorry, no soda...guess happy hour will just have to start a little earlier today. :bounce:
This is really a big story...we need to keep this thing kicked. Fitzgerald just showed this investigation will go on for quite some time and there are gonna be a lot of fish caught in his net.
Cheers

Well, according to Novak:
........snip........
"I deplore the thought of reporters -- I've been a reporter all my life -- going to jail for any period of time for not revealing sources." he said. "They are not going to jail because of me . . . and those people who say that don't know anything about the case."
.........snip.......
So, when does he report to the jailhouse?
