Does she still work for the CIA and is she not allowed. It seems to me that one interview with Valerie and Rove and gang our toast.

1. I Thought She was Under Orders Not to Speak.
Because of the Fitzgerald investigation. Am I wrong?

2. My guess would be that some of her contacts might not know
the name Valerie Plame, but would recognize her face. I suspect it's an effort to salvage any small bit of anonymity possible

8. She was in the spread for Vanity Fair, I believe
I don't think she's allowed to since she'd mostly likely be asked to discuss the investigation.

Just came back from a year leave of absence. Probably waiting for Dick Cheney to be indicted before she can testify on the stand that his company Haliburton was involved in making and selling nuclear bomb making material in A Q Khan's network.

6. She was apparently on a leave of absence
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/07/10/wcia10.xml&sSheet=/news/2005/07/10/ixworld.html

While Miller languishes in jail, Mrs Wilson has quietly returned to work at the CIA's headquarters in Langley, Virginia, after a year's unpaid leave. Her work remains classified, although she is no longer a covert operative.

She spent much of her enforced leave of absence helping to counsel women suffering from postnatal depression, a condition that strikes an estimated one in 10 new mothers and which Mrs Wilson herself experienced.

10. Why would she?
There really is no reason for her to. The Agency does not encourage it. And, as the old saying goes: spies don't talk, they write memos.
