"I Love the Smell of Desperation in the Morning"

every morning that sweet, pungent fragrance wafts across the land from the area around the white house. and it gets stinkier and smellier every day, like the bits of raw chicken you forgot to throw out a few days ago.

smell it? it burns the nose, but it's an odor not altogether unpleasant, desperation, the sweating of bullets and sleepless panic and anxiety on the faces of all the president's men. it's written on the faces of mc clellan, mehlman, hannity, and especially bush.

they can't hide it anymore in their body language. they've always been cocky and assured and confident and they always showed it, but now they look like what they are, desperate.

never kick a man UNLESS HE'S DOWN.

We can learn something from the British. I'm endorsing this mindset and attitude. This is how America could have responded to 9/11 instead of becoming terrorized zombies. It's not too late. 8. Had a dream w/ you in it last night, mopaul.

As an artist I was VERY envious of this VERY ELABORATE multi media art installation you'd constructed. It took up several rooms of an exhibition space and used film footage that had been run through a filter so it looked like a pointillist painting. You know how dreams are, they often depart from anything actual in a way that makes it difficult to convey them in words -- at least mine often do. This was like multiple screens showing films simultaneously with which the viewer could interact. The theme or content had somehow something to do with money and politics but I can't be precise. It doesn't matter. The feeling content was one of 'wow! I wish I'd thought of that'!

So, not sure what part you are representing in my dream state but just thought it was interesting enough to share.
