An RWer Said That Hussein Would Have Killed 60000 By This Time?
He said that the 1775+ dead soldiers is "better" than 60000 dead Iraqis.

But... is the figure true? I kinda don't think so.

1. Well considering that over 100,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed since
the invasion, I'd say his point is moot wouldn't you?

2. How many Iraqis have died at the hands of the United States?
We don't hear the numbers of Iraqis killed due to an illegal war caused by George w. bu$h.

5. How many of our own troops
will be coming home to suffer the same fate of long term birth defects and cancer? Won't be just the Iraqis.

4. Sounds Like 'Fuzzy Math'
Edited on Thu Jul-14-05 08:58 AM by tmorelli415
It is a hypothetical figure - purely based on manipulation of data to back up a predetermined position. Give a RWer a handful of intelligence figures and a calculator and they'll twist it into a reason to invade France if you let them.

'Fuzzy math' like when they said, "the profits from oil will pay for the occupation," and "the tax cuts will create job growth," and "this war will only last about six months."

Tell him to prove it. He can't.

7. U.S. is not responsible
Edited on Thu Jul-14-05 09:11 AM by tmorelli415
Bush and right wing is responsible. Bush is not America. He and his followers just *think* he is America - they also think he is the Second Coming of Christ. These people are seriously twisted so we shouldn't add to their delusions of grandeur by handing over the good name of this country for them to drag through the mud.

9. Hmmmm! Sounds Like Moral Relativism To Me
Don't conservatives hate moral relativism? I thought so. They must only hate it when it's inconvenient, but like it when it IS convenient.
