Why the rove story has legs and will continue: good TV!
Basically, rove is universally hated by everyone (the press and the some repukes included) and everyone wants to see him twist in the wind, but more telling is the strength of the story.

Last week moron* and his room full of dopes puts out he PR alert that the US & Brits maybe withdrawing troops as early as next year.

Under normal circumstances, this news would trump anything else, however, it was virtually buried under an avalanche of rove questions and reports.

Now they parade out the jenna and barbara show to try once again to off set any sort of bad press generated by rove (boy that guy has such stink on him) and again to no avail, it falls flat.

What people are now tuning in for is the scotty tissue hour press briefings. Now that is some good TV. Nothing like an hour of watching mr. scotty, please pull my string, mcclellen spout one non-answer after another. I watch and listen waiting each day for the moment, when he looses his cool. It's great! I keep tuning in though, because I know, now that the press has finally gotten over it's kool-aid hangover and the are asking real questions, poor little scotty's head will explode soon and I don't want to miss it. :)

1. Press briefing today?
Has anyone heard if Chummy McSharkbait is going for day #4 of his press briefing stonewalling?

I think a big thing that's not getting out as much as it should is that Rove goes to the same church as the Wilsons. As Wilson said, her name is Mrs. Wilson so when TurdBlossom said Wilson's wife... he did in fact name her.

2. Is there a WH press conference every day??

I'd like to watch it, but might have to wait until it's on the internet.

4. This is what happened with Watergate
My mom says that there was just this one day when everything changed and after that the event of the day was watching Ron Zeigler stand before the press screaming questions about Nixon.

8. As Mr. Stewart Said, Major
"Today, we secretly replaced the White House press corps with real reporters to see if anyone would notice the difference...."

9. As you know, Sir, once blood is in the water there is no controlling
the sharks. Even the barracudas are taking notice.

10. I think you're right...

Bush has past his zenith. From here on out, it's downhill for him -- hopefully not for us as well. It seems like the mood of the country has fundamentally changed.

5. I would imagine that Trent Lott is not inclined to throw Rove a rope.
The former Rethug Majority leader was taken out by the WH and not Dems.
