I'm becoming a Jerry Springer fan!!

Anyone else?? I like the approach of his new radio show on AAR. He reasons with people and stays calm. I like when he plays those silly songs that show the banter between him and his staff ("Blowin' in the Wind").

I like most of the other hosts on the station, including some of the fiestier ones, but Jerry seems the most accessible.

1. I'm liking him more as well
It was hard to listen to him because all I can hear is "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry"

Having a guy like Spring on the radio seems to me like an invitation to the right wing to say "Is this the best they can do?" But I have found him to be a good discussion creator and I am liking him more each time I listen to him also.

2. I figure plenty of right wingers

watched Jerry's show - so on the plus side, he's controversial enough to make people want to listen at least once.

3. A friend of mine, who is a lifelong Republican (although she had no idea

what a "neo-con" is until I told her) has started to listen to Springer's show and she loves it. She even listens to Franken. She told me yesterday that she listens to most of AAR, and finds Malloy too strident, she doesn't like Majority Report much, can listen to Randi, but sometimes has to turn the channel. But she really loves Springer, and likes Franken a lot — she said she finds those two shows "reasonable and well-researched." She might learn a few things after all.
:patriot:

Edited to add: I almost forgot, her FAVORITE show is Morning Sedition!

When I saw the title of your post, I thought you were talking about the TV show! LOL But I totally agree with you, I love listening to his show. I think he and Randi are my favorites on AAR. :)

7. He's not the most popular host here on DU, but...
he does fit AAR well. Not everyone needs to be like Randi, Malloy, and Seder.
