What happened to Barr? He's actually slamming Rove. Just said he didn't think it would be long before lots of Pub Reps and Sens say Rove is hurting the party and he has to go!

WOW! He wasn't my Rep, but he was a Rep from Ga!

11. You nailed it.
I live in Georgia and have been forced to endure the egomaniac Barr for years (since he's quite adept at getting himself in the spotlight). He is most definitely an opportunist.
He was a real pitbull against Bill Clinton. And promoted himself as a real "family values" guy appalled by Clinton's behavior.
This from a serially divorced adulterer who is anti-choice...except when it comes to his wife. (who he took to the abortion clinic...but said he "didn't realize" why).
Another hypocritical Repub.
Plus, he almost shot one of his supporters at a fundraiser when he tried to show-off with one of his host's loaded weapons. Idiot.

2. Barr may be a reactionary
But he does have some principles. He's been bashing Shrubby for years now.

3. He'll always be a despicable creature.
But at times, he will speak up against his own party if it offends his law and order, civil libertarian point of view.

6. Well, I gotta tel ya, I'm truly shocked!
As a Ga. resident, I've been watching and hating him for years! He was sooo nasty to Clinton, I couldn't stand him!

I have to respect him though for slamming ShrubCo and Rove. At least if he thinks something is wrong, he is strong enough to go against the damn party line and say what he believes!

7. Yeah, he's a piece of work
He's the guy who used to rail against women having abortions on the House floor even as he was paying for his own wife's abortion at a clinic in Atlanta (he confessed when his cancelled check was used as proof he "done" it). He's become a latter day civil libertarian, probably as a result of some investigation on him. Now he's doing stuff for the ACLU.

8. Barr has been an outspoken critic of the Patriot Act. But ....
it's not enough for me to like Bob Barr.

9. Don't trust the pig.
I live in the 7th district here in Marietta Ga. (also Newt country).

He may be saying a few things that sound ok, but don't forget how ferociously he went after Clinton. He's a bastard!

10. As a strict Constitutionalist,
Barr woould be against the Patriot Act. Follwing that same mindset, that would explain his stance on Rove too.
