Outing undermines our safety

The Bush administration is not being truthful concerning Karl Rove's involvement in the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame. Rove knowingly released the information to get back at Joseph Wilson when Wilson went public with his inability to find any evidence during his CIA-sponsored Niger trip to support the president's statements regarding weapons of mass destruction. Wilson was introduced to his wife's superiors and was asked to gather intelligence on Iraq's purchase of yellow cake, a form of uranium used for making nuclear bombs. He found no evidence that Saddam Hussein had purchased any yellow cake.

When Wilson returned, he reported his findings with his chain of command.

When he later heard in the president's state-of-the-union speech that Saddam had purchased yellow cake, Wilson felt compelled to set the record straight.

He tried to contact the administration, but no one would contact him.

Finally, he went public through The New York Times and, shortly thereafter, his wife's cover was revealed. By outing her, Rove and others in this administration have undermined our national security and caused the CIA to lose a valuable undercover agent. By their actions, they have made us all less safe.

that is why i am so happy when these idiots keep sticking up for him with that logic. Everyone knows that claims have to pass some kind of test of reality. And everyone who hears "He didn't actually say her name" knows that IT DOESN'T MATTER.

That is why i was so happy that you attached that thought in the parenthesis, i wish everyone would constantly attach that to this issue so that the dumb repubs will know that while that fact may help them win a legal argument, WE ALL KNOW HE OUTED HER. We all know that he put lives at risk and we all know that he put the security of our country in danger.
