Senators Coleman and Kit Bond on c-span 3 in about an hour to respond to |
|
the Schumer - Wilson conference.
Republicans couldn't have picked two more mudracking senators, i think...coleman has sold his soul to the devil and Kit Bond, although i don't know that much about him ... can spin things around when he wants to, i believe.

3. I will always think of Norm Coleman |
|
As a man who crawled into the Senate over the still-smoldering corpse of Paul Wellstone.

5. Coleman got eaten alive trying to defend Bolton |
|
Kerry and Biden looked like they were enjoying devouring the easy prey, at the famous committee meeting.

6. Kit Bond and Pat Roberts added the LIES about Wilson to the Intel Report. |
|
They should be forced to TESTIFY to Patrick Fitzgerald how they came to their conclusion that Wilson lied.
I would bet ANYTHING they planted that into the Intel Report to effect the Plame case and the PR around it.
They should testify under oath. Wanna bet Karl helped them write that part of the report?

My mother, though a life long friend of Kit's mother, refused to vote for him for Congress in 1968 because he ran such a dirty campaign... Though a Mexico, Missouri native (somewhat), he was so new back into the State for that campaign that his car still had Virginia license plates.
But it was his roots. Grandson of A.P. Green, whose brick plant employed many area people. Kit became wealthy when It sold to US Gypsum... But he lost a lot of money in a company glitch.
He was elected Governor, lost to Joe Teasdale of Kansas City, then was elected for a second term beating "walkin Joe" the second time.'
In 76, helped to cost Reagan the nomination by going to their campaign and whining that he was a sitting Governor in a Democratic state whose Kansas City was hosting the convention and the Reagolnites so controlled the Republican State Convention they would not elect him as a delegate. they also omitted Senator Danforth.
Reagon's campaign agreed to let Kit and those like him around the country be delegates. Kit promptly rewarded them by voting for Ford at the convention.
Class Guy, huh ???????????
