About GOP attacks of "French-Looking Candidate Kerry" |
|
Anytime somebody quotes the idea that Kerry is "French-looking", point out to the person that the GOP is just showing its true "colors" by judging a person completely on his looks, and, by the way, they believe that a person's race really does affect the qualifications of a candidate.
Keep spreading the idea that Rush's attack of "French-looking Kerry" is akin to racism, not judging a person on their abilities, like the right-wingers CLAIM they support.

5. Where was this gutter sniping written/spoken? |
|
This is below tabloid level. It is the kind of smear you find in fetid neo-Nazi scribbling.
Which fascist outlets are pumping out this crap?

8. Republicans are truly insane |
|
How do so many people get so whacked? Is it the water they drink? Is it the surge of fake christian churches teaching Republican dogma instead of Christianity?

11. everybody does it. Let's be real |
|
and it is an unfortunate reality of presidential politics in our intellectually challenged populace. Presidential candidates ignore this truth at their peril.

14. Let's try reading: chadm wrote: "Democrats do the same thing |

Liberalhistorian apparently didn't read that part. And note: mere voters (such as I) can be Democrats too, it's not just the candidates who are refered to as Democrats.

13. Let's not concede "reality" so easily |
|
The spectrum within which people think is defined by the media pundits. As soon as the debate ended last night, they went on about who looks more Presidential...barely mentioning names like Kucinich and Sharpton despite the fact that they were on entirely different intellectual plane.
So, yes, I agree that this is a condition of our intellectually challenged populace. Too bad they can't come up with a Kucinich who looks like Kerry...he just might save the world.

15. Wow, you think Kerry looks good? Great to hear! BTW He very well |
|
could change the world. He is every bit as capable as Kucinich or Sharpton of doing so. IMHO he is our best, brightest, and best-looking hope! ( I don't find many people praising his good looks so I am happy to find one) :)

16. That is such a stupid, lame "criticism" against Kerry |
|
I would think that people would laugh it away, but because there were/are so many people who refused to eat french fries or drink French wine, I have to wonder if such idiocy will stick.

17. C'est Un "Limbeau", N'est-Ce Pas? |
|
In French, a "limbeau" (pronounced LAM-bo) literally means "anal cyst" but colloquially it is used the way we use "pain in the ass". Thus a "limbeau" is an annoying person, esp. one who makes a nuisance of himself by being noisy and persistent. Variant pronunciations throughout the New World include the more common "lim-BAW".
