Three questions on Plamegate and the Dems Senate amendment: |
|
Actually, the first two are obvious, and are more like statements:
1. If the Reid amendment is so bad, then why does Coleman and Roberts want to have a quorum and polish the bill off? The Republicans have all said this is political propaganda, so why the rewrite?
Could it be that they know that there's nothing wrong with the Reid amendment, and that they're stalling, and making shit up?
2. If we supposedly don't know all the facts, how does Jeff Sessions know that Rove didn't do anything wrong?
3. If there really is a 1995 executive order signed by President Clinton, why do we need this amendment? Is this simply to have a Congressional safeguard in case the President overrides the previous order? Can he do that? This is really a question about the limits of an executive order. Any experts?

1. One of the problems with starting a new (vanity) thread, based on ... |
|
... some discussion in another thread, is that the entire context is lost. When you fail to provide a cogent summary of that context or any links or references, it's a waste of forum space and an abuse of other members' time. Besides, it invites replies such as this -- which merely repeats what people with good sense already should know.
