My e-mail to Sirius...
Dear Sirius:

My concern is the Air America programming you just lost. I am going to subscribe to XM so that I can continue to get Air America, but I will also stay with Sirius and have both satellite services, for a while at least.

I just looked online at your channel offerings, and I notice that the Air America channel, 144, isn't even listed any more. You still have Sirius Left, which I listen to for Thom Hartmann, as well as for a little of Ed Shultz, The Young Turks and Stephanie Miller. I think Thom Hartmann is better than anybody on Air America, and I am hoping that, now that Channel 144 has opened up, you will start carrying all three hours of Hartmann's show live instead of just the first hour and then replaying the other two hours during the wee hours of the morning. Because Thom Hartmann, besides being better than anybody at Air America, is also way better than Lynn Samuels.

Additionally, with that whole new channel that just opened up, you could start picking up some more liberal talk radio hosts from around the country. I'd like to put in a plug for Guy James down in Florida. He's just on for three hours a week on one little AM station in Ft. Myers, Florida. And he's as good as anybody at Air America Radio, too. I know he has a huge Internet radio following around the country.

You now have two Talk Right channels but only one Talk Left channel. The only reason I subscribed to Sirius in the first place was so that I could start listening to liberal talk radio. I'm sure you must have lots of other subscribers who listen to Sirius for the same reason. I sincerely hope you're going to give us all a good reason to keep listening ... and keep subscribing. Thank you very much.

Oh, and one more little thing: Please lose Alan Colmes, or move him somewhere else. He is NOT a liberal!

Ron

1. Thanks for the post!
I took down the sentiments.

I think that I want to send a similar e-mail; I agree with you.
