Good to see Gregory running the show tonight. This is definitely better than the usual shill fest.

7. Yeah, especially after last night -- started with "Mr. Ed" Mehlman |
|
with no rebuttal, then into DeWine (Rethug) ... I was screaming at my TV -- "this isn't supposed to be effing Faux News!" I wish they'd just replace Tweety with Gregory -- he's got cojones!

10. Remember, Tweety Is Involved In This Somehow |
|
Maybe someone has a link or a better clue...two years made the Tweety connection here a bit foggy.
IIRC, didn't he talk to Scooter Libby or someone else involved in this mess...that came out and then everyone clammed up. I also had read that Tweey had been questioned by Fitzgerald's people...and might even have appeared in front of the Grand Jury.
Last night's show was the worst. Check my posts. He didn't have a Democrat on until nearly half way through the show, and then it was Bob Schrumm. And then he cut Shrumm off.
Methinks he was told by his GE bosses to take a "time out"

15. Yes -- Wilson has been saying all along that Tweety called him |
|
and gave him the news "I just heard from Karl Rove that your wife is fair game."
I'm glad they gave him the night off anyway, so they could give the anchor desk to someone who's willing to stir the pot -- David Gregory. (The GE bosses may rue that decision if Gregory shows the guts he's had during the past few days.)

17. Thanks For Reminding Me... |
|
It WAS Tweety that Rove said that to. Hmmm.
Why this hasn't been brought up is interesting as well. Sorry, I'm trying to keep tin foil from floating down around me. LOL.
Gregory is so far better at this show than Tweety now, it's a totally different show. Tweety's waaaaaaay too compromised here to deal with this issue.
And now that I think about it...uh oh, here comes the tin foil...:tinfoil:...do ya think Tweety's being put on ice on any shows dealing with this issue (by orders of his bosses) since he may be involved in the next phase of this investigation? Maybe I should bookmark this post. LOL.
Cheers...

(1st amendment lawyer) saying this is a poor situation with which to use this amendment. Further (is he Repug using Talking Points?) he contends that Plame's position was not officially 'undercover'...
Gregory responds with "well why did the Justice Dept bring in a special prosecutor for this case then?"...

12. Why did they say Gregory was hosting? |
|
I'm suspicious since Wilson talked about how Tweety called him right after Tweets spoke with Rove. The "she's fair game" conversation. Anyhow, it's juicy that Tweety is out tonight after being on vacation the other week.

Ginsburg, in ranting that the Dems aren't doing anything, says that the Dems haven't put forward any ideas on how to fix welfare :wtf:
Is this guy so deluded that he thinks Reagan is still in office, or is he calling social security welfare?
