5. Bob Woodward says the same thing.
I'm fairly certain that Fitzgerald is aware of the laws in this case.

Who the fuck is Oliphant? A writer?

12. Do you seriously not know who Tom Oliphant is?
He's been covering Washington for what, 30 years?

He writes a column for the Boston Globe and is sydicated around the country, I believe.

He's also been a frequent guest on the PBS News Hour and other television programs.

He's also a weekly guest on the Al Franken show.

He gets all kinds if inside info in Washington, but I doubt he knows what's going on inside the grande jury.

16. Oh I know, LOL.
I was being facetious.

I just love how these writers and pundits are acting like Fitzgerald is some dummy, since they claim to not understand/not see/whatever why Rove is in trouble.

I'm sure Fitzgerald isn't prosecuting this case just for the free drinks, is all I'm sayin'.

22. Is Oliphant the same one who used to do political cartoons?
If it is, he must be about 110 now 'cause he was well-established when I was a kid. I'm guessing the present Oliphant must be the cartoonist's son or something.

3. They are making this all about Wilson. It is NOT about Wilson.
It is about Rove and what he said or didn't say to Novak, et al, and the consequences that ensued therefrom.

11. Actually, it's really about who leaked this to Rove and about
who the other source (or sources) are. It came from someone pretty high up in the administration.

25. We aren't certain that Rove didn't obtain the information on his own.
Sneaky son-of-a-bitch might have bullied his way into obtaining the information.

4. The usual Republican things: Ooga Booga, this isn't his first wife!
Ooga Booga! He likes the womenfolk!
He buys French wine!

More bullshit.

Joe Wilson is *not* the issue. Hitting back at Joe Wilson does nothing at all. His credibility is not even a small part of the issue at hand.

8. They're grasping at straws
This is not about Wilson, and they know it. This is just something they are using to try and distract people. In the end it doesn't matter what they say, it won't influence the investigation.

9. What, TWO wives who are undercover CIA agents?
I had no idea that Wilson was a bigamist.

Or maybe it's one of his children, this time around. Or his grandpa.

19. Yet again: what does this have to do with Wilson?
This is about the WH outing a CIA agent for a cheap, partisan smear. Anything else is a red-herring.
