Why hasn't the person from the CIA who sent Wilson spoken out? |
|
All of the hand wringing revolves around Wilson's wife's role in his assignment. Someone in the CIA above Wilson's wife authorized him to go, and presumably this person is not a covert operative. So why hasn't any public statements come out from the CIA finally clearing up the matter of who sent Wilson and why?

2. Probably because he/she will have to admit it was on Cheney's order. |

The Big Dick sure has been silent, again.

...they are working on finding people trying to secure WMD to kill us, and they don't want their picture and name splashed on TV...like Valerie Plame.
I mean, the CIA does have important work to do, when they aren't trying to fix the damage done by BushCo's political brownshirts.

5. They did come out to Congress & the Senate and deny that Plame |

was responsible for the idea behind hiring Wilson. Repukes made a report saying it was so and the CIA took issue with that. Probably as 'on the record' as is possible.
The facts are out there. Even Andrea Mitchell has to agree.
But yes - would it not be pertinent if Cheney had hired Wilson. Knowing what a hothead he is. Knowing his integrity and way of speaking out to the truth as he did as ambassador to Iraq in 1990s.

7. Why is it so important who actually sent Wilson? |
|
I don't get that. It's a red herring question having nothing at all to do with anything but what Rove et al. raised to distract from the meat of Wilson's charge: that the Bushists lied and lied and lied and lied to get us into war in Iraq.

8. The CIA has already issued an official letter stating that they |

to go to Niger. Seems like everyone is just ignoring it.
It's also been stated that Valerie didn't have a high enough rank in the agency to make assignemts.
