i think they're trying to get back to the issue of reporters keeping their right to not divulge anonymous sources.

Wilson's wife was a CIA agent. Rove claims he said I've heard that too. And the cover story is that another reporter told him that she was, but he can't recall who. It is obvious Novak is trying to protect Rove, but I don't think this prosecutor will settle for such a flimsy explanation.
